Oskar, Feinmechaniker, * Lynow (Landkreis Luckenwalde) 1. 11. 1879, ✝ Bad Nauheim 16. 1. 1936. Als Mitarbeiter der Firma Ernst Leitz (Wetzlar) konstruierte er eine die Verwendung von Kinefilm ermöglichende Kleinbildkamera, die er bis 1913 zur »Ur-Leica« entwickelte; sie ging 1925 als »Leica« in die laufende Fabrikation.
